Ed Rosengarten
EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN
Ed has over 30 years of experience in the investment industry and has held board level leadership positions in established blue chip companies. He spent 19 years at M&G and was CEO of Equities from 2001 until 2011. Ed subsequently joined Smith & Williamson, where he played a key role in establishing and developing their asset management business. The connection to advisers was an important feature of this role and emphasized the value of a good, holistic advice process. After leaving Smith and Williamson, Ed was appointed as the executive chairman of MWA Financial. He has considerable knowledge of the UK advice market, experience in board-level governance and investment expertise.
Campbell Banks
CEO and Director
Campbell is the founder of MWA - his vision, when launched in 2016, was to bring to the UK market a truly holistic financial planning offering, delivered by a best of breed team. Since then, MWA has emerged as a leading provider of advice in the UK. Campbell has over 25 years’ experience in Asia Pacific and the UK, developing financial advice firms and in management roles within large insurance and fund managers such as ING Group, AXA, and AMP Limited. As CEO of the MWA Group, he has overseen the successful acquisition of Eversley Estate Planners, CHC Wealth Management, Prosperity Independent Financial Advisors and Stockbrokers, and Sterling Financial Consultants.
Marine Deruelle
EXECUTIVE Director
Marine joined MWA in 2022 after MWA’s third acquisition as the Head of Operations and worked closely with the CEO and Board before becoming a director in 2023. She specialises in integrations post acquisitions which ensures the smooth transition of people and clients to MWA. Marine is the architect of our operational platform which delivers a market-leading client journey. Having graduated with a Masters in international business and languages, Marine spent eight years working in the financial services industry; including within AXA Australia and AMP Limited. She has held roles of business analyst, project manager, and general manager.
Phil Young
NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Phil has worked with advice firms throughout his career which started in a small consultancy firm in 1996, then to support services firm Bankhall, which led to the launch of a new support service for advisers, threesixty, in 2003. In 2010 threesixty sold to Standard Life (now Abrdn) and Phil stayed on as MD until 2017, after which he established a portfolio career primarily in financial services, holding a combination of Chair and Non-Executive Director roles.
He typically works with advice businesses who are looking to grow both organically and inorganically, and want some assistance putting the right governance in place to cope with that change.
